Big month

May has been and will be a big month. I think it feels like that because of how late Easter was this year. My Birthday was May 2nd (turned 27) and it was just a day...nothing spectacular. Then May 8th was Mother's Day. I tell you, it's backward. A Birthday is the only time someone can celebrate you for something your parents did (birth) and then Mother's Day is to celebrate the fact that they gave birth (which would actually be celebrating the kid) haha! It's Crazy! This Sunday is our last big Fundraiser for our Youth Mission Trip to Charleston, SC This Summer. Then, May 16-18th I will be in Lynchburg for the Refuel: Innovate Church conference. Then I will get home long enough to pack again and May 19th-21st is the Deacon Retreat. Then May 23rd is my TWO YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!! Then May 30th is Memorial Day.

Whew! That's a lot in one month! But it's a great month. I am trying to do my best to enjoy the moments even though like most people I do not always appreciate what I have. I am always thinking about what I should have or what I can get and need to just take a moment, and thank God for the life I have. It is not perfect, but it's a lot better than terrible!

God is good, even when my life is not! That truth keeps me going and I pray this months is good for me and others and that we all take the time to enjoy the blessings!

God Bless,

Brian
