Today I had my ordination council. Boy, that is some interesting stuff. 6 Pastors some I knew, and some I did not (though I know now) grilled me on all things Bible for an hour in a half. It was tough, and challenging, but incredibly rewarding.
It is interesting when you are in a situation like that, and asked questions you have never been asked, and hearing yourself answer. God will place the knowledge that you need, and you may not even know it.
As nerve-racking as it was, it was thoroughly encouraging and educational. I will be ordained and become a reverend on January 24th, 2009 at 6PM!
God is awesome!
