YEC Reflections

So we are back and recovering after YEC and a great Sunday at church. David Nasser brought it as I expected him to do! Kids really enjoyed it! There were 32 Salvations, where as there are normally hundreds, but I believe these were more genuine. David is not into the gimmicks...the music, the lights, the emotional manipulation. He straight up just brought the gospel brought the house lights up and told them to come. I was able to lead a student named Chris to Christ! It was awesome!

We also talked about sharing our faith, part of the whole Evangelism thing, lol! The kids left there refreshed and convicted, and we did too! Then at service we talked about the health of the church. In a time when most churches if not all are struggling, it's important to talk about health. I read the blog of Rick Warren and even his church was 900,000 dollars behind with two weeks to go before the New Year, and he sent out an impassioned plea to his church to make up the difference. Everyone is struggling. Now more than over, we must draw near to God.

We also had a deacon ordination last night which is a blessed service, and this coming Sunday I am being ordained at the church. I am looking forward to what God will do even through the service as I have many friends coming who need Christ, and I hope this points them to HIM!

Happy MLK JR. Day! Hope freedom is on your mind and heart today!

God Bless,

Brian
