Struggle

Life, is a struggle sometimes. Maybe you have heard from a Pastor, and I have even said it as one; that it is easy to trust God when everything is good. When the bank account is full, when the car is running smooth, when the job is working out just fine. But when any of those come into question, is the trust still in God? It should be, but is it?

It's funny and really ironic that I ask those questions, because I struggle with that myself. Can I trust God when things look grim? Can I trust God if I was destitute?

Sometimes, I lose heart, and get greatly concerned about how things are going to work out, and I realize I am not trusting God. It is such an EASY thing to do when life is "good." Very much a hard thing to do when it is not. While that is obvious, I think this is where true Christianity comes into play. This is when Character comes into play. This is when head knowledge vs. heart knowledge comes into play.

Do you believe in Christ, or do you just have head knowledge. Is Jesus your Lord TODAY, or only when it's convenient for you? If you truly Love God and you are truly Saved, then the answer is Yes You believe in Christ and He is your Lord TODAY.

If that's correct, then we (you and me both) need to start living like it. Most would say "acting" like it, but that's the problem, too many ACTORS. LIVING like Christ starts with Faith IN Christ. That's how salvation started. We had faith that God is who He says He is, and He sent His Son to die on the Cross for OUR sins, so that we could be forgiven, accept Him as Lord and Savior and live in eternity with Him!

That is all well and good, but for now, here we are. Living this life. What are we going to do with it? So I challenge you as I challenge myself to put your faith and trust in the Lord and Love of your life! He will provide! He will take care of our problems. Sufficient for today is it's own trouble.

Trust in Him now, I beg of you. Trust in Him now, he begs of you and me! Let's put the trust where in belongs (Christ) and the worry where it belongs (garbage) and sit back and watch God work!

Amen! and Amen!
