3 Days

I am 3 days from my Wedding Day (at 1 P.M.) and I am sitting here in a reflective state. I have heard it said, "What would it be like to get everything you've ever wanted?" That comment I have heard in movies and the like, and it has never really applied to me...until now. Two things I have wanted since I was young. 1. To be a Youth Pastor and 2. To be married. In 3 days, I'll have both at the SAME TIME! I'm really not sure how to process it all. It is really all kind of surreal. I'm not out of my mind excited like I thought I might be, but of course I am looking forward to it. For the first time in a long time in my life, I can actually say that I am pretty "chill" about it.

I have heard that it is different for the guy than it is for the girl, especially on the emotional side. Most guys who are married I have talked to said it didn't really hit them until the day of, or right as they were up on stage, or even the day after. I don't know when it will "hit" me, but all I do know is that I am a man blessed with more than I deserve and I look forward to how God will use both myself and Samantha in our new life together!

All you married folks out there, any last minute thoughts?

God Bless,

Brian

congrats man! marriage is amazing...our first year was the toughest and i can honestly say it was because our finances stunk! also you are learning more about who this person is that you married because you are now in each others space.

1. tell her you love her often
2. don't let marriage quench your romance. you have not arrived, only just begun.
3. you can not talk enough.
4. date your wife, make her feel special.
5. it's never too bad to apologize.

i could go on and on. our 13 year anniversary is monday. congrats again. it's an amazing journey...finish it together.

Go buy Sheet Music. It's a great book by a Christian author. I would start reading it before the honeymoon.
