The story Part 6: The end of the beginning

Much time has been spent in preparation for the final part of "The story" We have gone many places in this journey, and now we reach a type of end. As with all stories, once the climax happens, the story kind of settles down and maybe a resolution to previous issues comes about. 

Think of the story where the prince and princess are in love, and some big battle comes, in which the prince wins, and then at the end, they come back together, and live happily ever after. This is a type of end. But as it relates to "The story" we have to understand that the end is really the end of the beginning. You see, as long as we have breath in us, we have a chance to change. We have a chance for resolution. We have a chance for opportunity. When it comes to Christ, as long as we are alive, we have a chance to accept Him as Lord and Savior. You have this chance! Just like myself, and others who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you too can have one!

Yes, there is a lot of mess in this world. Yes, we do a lot of things to mess up our personal lives. Yes, we have sinned, and done wrong in the eyes of God. But, there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING that can keep you from the LOVE OF GOD!!! As a matter of fact, the only Sin God can and WILL not forgive is that you die never having accepted Christ. That's the "unpardonable sin" rejection of the Holy Spirit...which is the counselor sent by God in Jesus absence, that came and comes upon people upon their confession of faith and trust in Jesus. 

So, no matter how far away you believe you are from God, or how many times you have sinned, please know GOD LOVE YOU and wants you to have a relationship with His son, JESUS CHRIST! HE Died on the Cross for our sins! People put Him there but ultimately OUR SIN was WHY He was there. He gave His life freely for us. But that's not enough. It's not enough that Jesus gave His life, so our sin COULD be forgiven, we have to then accept Him asking for forgiveness of Sin and relationship with Him. Then, not only is Sin forgiven and a relationship with God created/restored, but the ultimate reward is ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN WITH HIM!!!

I encourage you to know Christ! Romans 10:9 says "If we confess with our mouths 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the grave, WE WILL BE SAVED." 

That's what it's all about. It's not enough to SAY we know Christ, but we must truly BELIEVE what we say!!! No Matter where you are at in your life, or what is going on within it, God is there for you. He wants desperately to restore that relationship with you, Humanity, that He had from the beginning before we rebelled against Him!

The beautiful thing about this life, no matter how messed up it gets, is that it's life! As long as it's life, even when we reach the end of "The story" we know that the end is really JUST the beginning!

I pray the old Life ends for you today, and that the NEW LIFE IN CHRIST begins for you Today!
