Seminary, Death, and Taxes

I'm starting to wonder if there is a connection between seminary and the TRUE in more ways than one, desire to be with Christ now more than later. Doing it online, and taking classes in an 8 week format instead of 16 weeks has it's advantages, but also many disadvantages. The fact that it's online and in 8 week format, means I can keep my full time job as youth pastor and still get the world class education Liberty University gives. The disadvantage is that it's a lot of work in 8 weeks on top of my duties at church. My social life is non-existent, and, while I am fairly sure I have a fiancee', making her a priority becomes increasingly difficult.

The light at the end of the tunnel, however, comes in May. In fact, so does the end of my "single" life happen and the beginning of my married life take it's place. That is exciting, and I'm praying for it to come quickly.

When I was a kid, I used to try to go to bed really early the night before something very exciting was supposed to happen, (like Christmas Eve for example). The reason being that the next day could seemingly come sooner. Can I just do that for the next 7 months or so?

No? Oh well! Such is life, I suppose. All I know for sure, is I am looking forward to many things ending, and new beginnings with God leading the way.

Here's to it!

i went to bed early the night before the new Jonas Brothers cd came out.... so the day-of-release would come quicker

Sounds like you have a lot of great things happening coming up soon. I just moved up from Lynchburg and had a lot of friends that went to LU. Gotta love DLP.
